2023 Hajj RULES AND REGISTRATIONS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED

The Presidency of Religious Affairs announced that pilgrimage registrations have been postponed due to the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes in the Southeastern Anatolia region of our country. It was stated that the dates of the recordings will be announced later.

On Monday, February 6, 2023, in the morning hours, two major earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş, 7.7 and 9 hours apart, in the Elbistan district.

The earthquakes experienced; It caused great destruction in 10 provinces and districts, especially Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Hatay, Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, Malatya and Adana. Many of our citizens were injured and suffered material and moral losses in the earthquake in which tens of thousands of our citizens lost their lives.

As Alkış Turizm, we wish God's mercy to our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake and a speedy recovery to the injured. We pray to God to help our brothers and sisters who are under the rubble.

Hajj REGISTRATIONS ARE POSTPONED

Due to the earthquake in our country, schools were closed, the spring semester of universities was postponed and many procedures were suspended. It was a matter of curiosity whether the pre-registered pilgrimage draws would be postponed in this manner.

The pilgrimage draws, which were planned to be held on February 15, 2023, were postponed to a later date due to the earthquake in our country. However, there is no clear date for this yet. Likewise, it was reported that the final registration for Hajj, which was to be held on February 20, was also postponed. Both the draws and pilgrimage registrations have been postponed to a later date by an official decision.

HOW MUCH WILL THE FEES BE?

The fees to be paid during the Hajj registration have not yet been determined and are estimated to be between 5000 and 6000 dollars.
