According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Hajj and Umrah of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, there is no official opportunity to go on pilgrimage without drawing lots. The quota that Saudi Arabia gives to Turkey, like every other country, is determined every year. This year, Turkey's Hajj quota is 83 thousand 430. Apart from this, he emphasized that those who try to go to Hajj with different visas such as worker or commercial have difficulties in the region and even risk returning from Jeddah or Medina airports.

Making a statement on the subject, Hajj and Umrah Services General Manager Remzi Bircan underlined that the drawless methods of going to Hajj, which have been spread among the public for a long time, are not possible. Bircan stated the following on the subject: "Our brothers who are not included in the lottery are directed to different places. With the authority given to us by law, we take 83 thousand 430 brothers and sisters, 60 percent through Religious Affairs and 40 percent through agencies affiliated with TURSAB. We want to warn our citizens. There is no such thing as a pilgrimage without rules. 83 thousand 430 is an official quota given to us by the Saudi Arabian authorities. Other than that, going on a pilgrimage is an illegal pilgrimage."

The authorities warned our citizens who were not included in the lottery to be very careful and not to resort to such different methods.
